Who We Are
The Vanuatu Tour Operators Association is open to all tour operators in Vanuatu.
VTOA exists to:
Represent its members to the government;
Act as a communication channel from the Vanuatu Tourism Office. The VTO does not send out communications to individual businesses except for its newsletter. Rather, the VTO distributes correspondence to certified tourism associations, who in turn distribute to their members. These communications include marketing updates, media buy in opportunities, and news regarding upcoming activities. VTO activities are only open to those businesses paying TMDF and belonging to a certified Tourism Association.
Why it’s a requirement to join a certified tourism association:
To obtain a business license, you must have a membership certificate from a certified tourism association, such as: VTOA, VHRA, VSOA or ESTA. It is also a requirement to belong to a certified association to gain your Department of Tourism certification.
